Source Specific Prayers

Along with the general list below in the left margin... please continue to pray as we move forward:

- New Growth: Individually, as a community, and as a church. John 15 talks about abiding in Christ, and being willing to be pruned

- Break Throughs: Asking God to come do break threws in our own lives and the lives of those we come in contact with each week. We're praying for salvation, significant miracles, circumstances, conviction, and revelations of Jesus in peoples lives.

- New wine & new wine skins: We're called to a unique place and doing a unique work. Merge is the church we planted alongside of Source. It's the core of Source with a vision to be a cross generational community for singles and families that desire to call Source their home and family. Urban church plants statistics show that a low percentage last more than a couple of years and of those few see significant growth. We feel called to be re-imagining church and what formation looks like that values discipleship, welcoming the marginalized, prayer, and being a missional community.

- Fallout Neighborhood: The Fallout is located in the most diverse neighborhood in the country. A combination of internationals, the Arts, and Homeless/poverty. This summer we're feeling lead to emphasize the residents, families, and kids in our neighborhood. Pray for the weekly kids club and the rea within a few blocks of the Fallout.

 

Summer Prayers:

- Outreach: Divine appointments, Spiritual conversations, Praying with people we meet, Street teams, Hosting events at the Fallout.

- Summer 7 day Intensives: Urban Ministry Training (June), Art Intensive (July)

- Small Discipleship Groups

- Jobs & Income for Joshua House Men

- Fallout Art Fest, July 24th (good weather, good attendance [over 1,000 in past years], need over 100 volunteers, bands, artist, food)

- Weekly Kids Club & July Day Camp Week (also that kids would be keys to connecting with families)

- Merge Church: Community (unity & relationships), Growth (new believers, families, leaders), Childrens worker, Worship leader, Home Groups

- Summer Interns & Staff

- Urban Immersion Groups (2-5 day trips for church groups)

- Building Projects: Volunteers to join us on Saturdays. (June tiling/kitchen cabinets, July windows, August flat roof)

- Staff, Interns, and Guys re-establishing their lives at the Joshua House and the Duplex.

- Finances (for staff living on support, facilities, utilities, and programs)

- Personal: Family & Kids
