like this... so close to my home."
"My stereo-types of the city, the
poor, and how to make a difference have been train-wrecked"
"Jesus said 'Go' to all the world...
we went to one nieghborhood and saw all the world."
"Going to an urban community was
brand new and eye opening for our group.. they still
talk about the experience months later!"

have experience and who have lived in the neighborhood….
Our people got to see strengths of people that are laying
down their lives and sacrificing for those that are
the furthest out there."
"I Love the fact that fact that our
kids get to see God’s kingdom at work in bigger,
and different and innovative ways."
"It was neet to see the staff of
Source call the people in shelters by name."
"Compassion 48 should be like getting
a drivers license that every teenager should be required
to do it so they can see what is out there that is not
in their sheltered world.. and they can learn how
to have compassion for a broader spectrum of people
than there immediate relationships."

Exposure,
Hands-on, Interaction
Source has reached out to the marginalized, skeptical,
and homeless youth since 1995. Compassion 48 urban immersion
trips create exposure, hands on experience and interaction
that reveal the reality of the needs in our own back
yard. Processing with staff that have years of experience
and currently live and work in the city allow uniquely
impacting processing times with groups - a powerful
experience that you will never forget.
