positive choices. Community meals, clothes closet, outreach
offices, showers and laundry, a prayer room, a music venue,
art gallery and skateramp are all included. The FAI also

Transitional Homes & Life Skills
Transitional Homes, 250 residents since 1995, have provided
many the chance for a “family” to help make
a break from the past and set a foundation through Life
Skills Training and spiritual growth. The 8 month to 1
year program provides opportunity to teens and young adults
trying to overcome, but have no realistic access to resources.

| Our goal is to be a Missional
Community embracing the lambs and looking for the *prodigals
who want to return home - existing at the crossroads of
culture providing hospitality and impacting this hurting,
skeptical, and diverse culture through prayer, urban outreach,
the Fallout Arts Initiative (Fallout Urban Art Center
& Art Co-op), transitional homes and Urban Ministry
Trainings.

Our wholistic approach of being a FRIEND (serving physical,
emotional and spiritual needs) and a VOICE (communicating
God's love and forgiveness) allows us to reach those who
are coming out of devastating and troubling histories,
skeptical of the mainstream, and would not come into a
church for help or answers.

Young People In Need
"I wanted to grow but the past was still in my face."
ex-gang member living in the same environment after a
radical conversion
where does a homeless 19-year-old go
who wants an opportunity to grow?
20 year old re-dedicates life, but is living with the
friends he used drugs with when he was 12.
“I don’t have a place to sleep tonight,”
17 year old asking to sleep at the Fallout, after mom
is placed in a shelter that does not allow children older
than 14.
21 year old, dropped off at bus station after being incarcerated
since the age of 14.
Where does a young adult go after being incarcerated
or institutionalized for 10 years?
Where does a prodigal go who wants to
return home, find the opportunity?

Core Values & Philosophy
Belonging
Make Contact & Gain Trust
The marginalized and young people are searching for belonging.
A large number would never come into a church and are
highly skeptical of Christians. To effectively be a voice
of God’s love and forgiveness, we must be able to
make contact and gain trust.
Available & Accessible
Trust is a big factor for those from hurting and broken
pasts. Available relationships and accessible places to
go when they are ready for more or are in times of personal
crisis allow individuals to move at there own pace.
4,000 annually attend events and come in contact with
outreach teams
Creativity
The arts influence culture and attract individuals from
all backgrounds. Creativity and interactive art also allow
individuals to express themselves, break down stereo types,
attract diversity, and build trust.
The Arts & the marginalized
The FAI allows a platform to build relationships within
the arts, and use creativity to come in contact and serve
the marginalized with dignity.
Opportunity to Grow
Broken homes, homeless, drugs, prostitution, negative
relationships, unemployment, unplanned children, and education
issues have been part of what we see young people need
to overcome.
Family & A Home
When individuals express a desire for positive change
– Provide an opportunity to allow them to succeed:
An environment of growth that includes Housing, a Life
Skill Program, and healthy role models to be a new Family.
When prodigals desire to return home, what if someone
was looking, ran to them, and was ready to offer them
family and a home?
Where does a homeless 19 year old go who wants an opportunity
to grow?
Prayer
As we meet and build relationships, we pray for and offer
to pray with individuals. Prayer is the catalyst to God,
who directs our mission, sustains us personally, and brings
hope and redemption to broken lives. As we connect with
the overwhelming circumstances, we are often the only
ones who are praying for individuals by name. Hope, tolerance,
healing, miracles, revelation, and hearts open to change
all result from prayer.
