24/7 means constant; all the time, every moment. As humans
we don't have the energy or focus to do anything 24/7 by our
own strength. But God does. He is committed to you 24/7. He
never stops loving you or caring for you; He is never for one
second unaware of your needs. We honor His commitment to us,
and eagerly engage in the chance to know Him more, by committing
ourselves to 24/7 prayer.
Welcome to the Prayer Room! Please enjoy allowing the Lord
to be with you. Feel free to use the stations as starting guides
for your prayers, songs, dances, or quiet meditations. There
is an iMac computer next to the sound board that has iTunes
on it. Please feel free to select some worship music and play
it while you pray. You are invited to light a candle as you
enter the prayer room and extinguish it when you leave to mark
your time with the Lord. Also, please pray
for the person who comes to relieve you after your shift and
partake of communion together. (Ideas: that God would
speak specifically to them, that their time would be sweet fellowship
with Him, their personal requests). Keep the river flowing!
Please respect the purpose of the space and those who are praying
by speaking quietly or taking non-prayer conversations to the
gallery area. If you choose to sleep here overnight, please
sleep in the gallery or the basement. Thanks.
“Pray as you can, not as you cannot” Red Moon Rising
As you enter into the prayer room, we encourage you to begin
with a heart of simply seeking God’s presence. Try to begin
by putting away any agenda’s or stresses you might have came
here with. Participating in acts of giving God praise, confession,
and thanksgiving can assist us in connecting with God and actually
being in His presence. Once we are connected with God it helps
us have his heart as we pray for ourselves, our love ones and
the world around us. Do not feel you must use the stations to
do this, but only if they will assist you.

Adoration
Prayers of Adoration: *Create tiny pieces of artwork, words,
prayers that represent your personal adoration of God
Psalm 27:4, One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what
I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the
days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to
seek him in his temple.
*Art pieces will be collected throughout the week and assembled
into the prayer mobile, creating a visual of what God is speaking
throughout the week!
Confession
The Altar of Sacrifice: Love, Confessions, Burdens. We look
to the example of Abraham and his obedience to sacrifice his
only Son. Similarly God himself Sacrificed his only son Jesus
on the cross. What things do we need to lay down on the altar
or nail to the cross? Grab a fabric piece and write down anything
that hinders your full obedience to God. Tie the fabric on
the altar as Abraham bound his son Isaac to the altar. Trust
God to provide the Grace to leave this behind.
Thanksgiving
Ebenezer Stones: As the Israelite took stones from the middle
of the Jordan and erected monuments to Gods provisions, we
can remember how God has met us in our own lives. Grab a stone
or stones and write down blessings.
Supplication (intercession)
- Lost, Lambs, & Least of These.
In the Prayer Room write a prayer for individuals or people
groups that God puts on your heart. We pray revelation and
conviction for the Lost. A home, family and a place to grow
for lambs and prodigals. Provision and compassion for the
least of these globally as well as in our own neighborhoods.
- Communion: The body and blood of Christ are available for
you to partake. Take some time to meditate on the greatest
sign of love.
- Family: intercede for families. Pray for family to be a
key part of the Body of Christ and that those that feel isolated
are able to experience amongst followers of Jesus. Pray for
the Source Merge Church expression for those that want to
call Source their home and family. Pray for Spiritual Moms
& Dads. Or write a prayer for those that you consider your
family and tape it to the doors.
- Abiding in Christ: John 15. We are the branches, Jesus is
the vine. Our journey with Christ is a continual growing process.
Because of the Fathers great love for us He is continually
wooing us into intimacy, dependency and obedience. Take time
to sit and contemplate what season He has you in.
- God's Heart. Large red heart....This is "God's heart" it's
huge in comparison to ours. take the small paper hearts next
to it and right down "what you need to trust God with" and
take these things in your heart and place them in "His" heart,
let go and receive His peace.
- Create: Feel free to use the paint supplies to paint whatever
prayers are on your heart.
